Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Drafthouse (the "Service"), a web application that extracts, edits and exports floor-plan exhibits from architectural drawings. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Drafthouse lets you upload floor-plan files (PDF, DXF and DWG), automatically detect walls, doors, windows, stairs and room labels, edit them in an interactive canvas, optionally use AI features to furnish or remodel a space, and export clean floor-plan exhibits. Automatic detection and AI output are provided as a best-effort starting point and are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete; you are responsible for reviewing and correcting results before relying on them.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or disable accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Plans, billing and renewals
- Drafthouse offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro and Unlimited). Plan limits and prices are shown on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are offered as monthly or annual subscriptions, billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Drafthouse never sees or stores your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal.
- Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: upload content you do not have the right to use; attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service; use the Service to violate any law or third-party right; or resell or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the floor plans and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Drafthouse a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (including rendering, detection, editing, AI processing and export). Your projects are private to your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by Drafthouse and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Drafthouse does not warrant that detection results, AI output, measurements or exports are accurate, complete or suitable for any particular use. You are solely responsible for verifying any output before relying on it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drafthouse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Drafthouse in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
